Dr. Stewart A. M. Smith, Founder, Xcelerate Foundation (pictured), the Jo Ann Smith and Patricia McDowell Women's Empowerment Fund supports young women with scholarships and monetary awards in the areas of education, STEM, service and entrepreneurship. The Fund, named for Dr. Smith's grandmothers, honors their renowned, passionate commitment to ensuring young people achieved their full potential.
